BAYER LAW IS WINDING DOWN
After many months of consideration I have decided that it is time for me to take the next step in my career. In these past five years, as an attorney, I have been privileged to work with great clients and peers like you. Some of you may know that my interests have always led me in the direction of teaching and facilitation. Luckily, I have been given a great opportunity to blend my pre-law school career in human resources, my business knowledge from running my own firm, my legal insight, and my passion to teach in the next step of my journey.
I will be joining Linkage Inc. in the beginning of April as a Senior Consultant. At Linkage I will work with great thought leaders to develop new training programs, as well as lead these new trainings and facilitate workshops. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND PRACTICE AREAS
I graduated from the University of Vermont with a major in Animal Sciences. After a few positions in my field and a trip across country, I became a scientific recruiter for a headhunter and later for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. While working at Dana Farber I became an administrator coordinating the training and career development of Dana-Farber postdoctoral researchers. I continued working at Dana Farber when I began Suffolk Law's evening program where I graduated from with honors in 2007.
After receiving my JD, I volunteered for North Shore Legal Services at the Housing Court in Lynn. My first attorney position was with a local company working in loan sales. In 2008, I moved to Washington DC, where I began reviewing documents in large corporate cases such as anti-trust and toxic tort.
While working in document review, I realized that I wanted to get back to helping individuals and be part of a community. I went to law school to provide legal advice and guidance to those who need it. It was natural to move back to the Boston area, where I spent almost ten years, to become a neighborhood attorney.
I take pride in the fact that in 2010, I became the third generation to open a "Bayer Law Office". I formed this office in the tradition of my grandfather and my uncle; to help individuals solve legal issues with dignity and competence. My mission is to be your neighborhood attorney and give the residents of the Greater BostonArea a person to turn to, instead of a firm.
