Linkage Inc.
SHANNON BAYER is a Senior Consultant at Linkage. She specializes in designing, facilitating, and implementing innovation, change leadership, and leadership development programs. Shannon focuses on helping organizations drive business results through improved team effectiveness, effective negotiation, coaching, and innovation.
Professional Background
Shannon has led strategic initiatives with the leadership teams of multiple hospital systems to identify, assess, and develop their current leadership bench strength as well as manage organizational and individual transitions. She designed and successfully launched Creating An Innovation-Capable Organization in partnership with Linkage partner and innovation expert, Stephen Shapiro. She has also worked extensively with government organizations, insurance companies, and consumer product organizations to provide leadership insights and generate short- and long term solutions in alignment with strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Linkage, Shannon was a Scientific Recruiter for Kforce and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. While at Dana-Farber, she coordinated the training and career development of Dana-Farber’s postdoctoral researchers while attending law school at night. She started her own law practice and successfully grew her business using alternative and innovative methods in a challenging economic environment.
Shannon earned a BS in Animal Science from the University of Vermont and a JD in International Law from Suffolk University.
Clients
Shannon’s clients include BNSF, Einstein Medical Center, Horace Mann, Mass Mutual, Ryder, and University Hospitals.
After receiving her JD and starting her own solo practice, Shannon decided to join Linkage Inc. and return to her interest in Leadership Development. Through her
practice and work in employment law, she saw the challenges in the workforce and talent development, succession planning and change management. While she enjoyed her years as an attorney, she is excited to use her previous human resources experience, training development work, legal knowledge, and business acumen as a Senior Consultant at Linkage.
